Dave Friary, Director of Roads, Parks and Fleet provided an introduction regarding the Recycled Street Sweepings Pilot Program.  He discussed that staff were innovative in the development of the Recycled Street Sweepings Pilot Program.  He noted that the program will provide a cost savings to the City together with extending the life of the Landfill site.

Jacob Reid, Senior Operations Technologist provided a presentation concerning the Recycled Street Sweepings Pilot Program.

Mr. Reid discussed slides concerning the following topics:

·	An overview of why the Recycled Street Sweepings Pilot Program was undertaken;
·	The disposal options and costs associated with disposal of street sweepings;
·	A picture depicting screened recycled street sweepings;
·	An outline of the Ontario Provincial Standard Specifications related to winter sand quality;
·	A graph illustrating the Ontario Provincial Specifications for Winter Sand;
